Crumb Busters

Crumb Busters is a chaotic top-down shooter where you rush for the biscuit, dodge the bullets, and risk it all to outscore your rivals.

Controls:

Move: W / A / S / D

Aim: Mouse

Shoot: Left Mouse Button (LMB)

Switch weapons: Scroll wheel or 1 / 2 / 3

Pause menu: Escape or P

How to play:

In Crumb Busters, the rules are simple but deadly:

• Rush for the Biscuit: Be the first to grab it before your rivals.
• Hold Your Ground: Stay alive or you’ll drop the biscuit for someone else to steal.
• Rack Up Points: While holding the biscuit, you’ll continuously score points.
• Beat the Clock: Matches last 5 minutes. When time’s up, scores are locked and a new round begins.

Message from me:

This was my first game jam, but not my first game. I spent about 8–15 hours a day for 5 days working on it, and I hope you have fun playing! The game was made by just the two of us: I handled the development (Discord: @rajihs) and my teammate did the art (Discord: @thejujuman) (itch.io: https://itch.io/profile/jujuman117). If you find any bugs, feel free to reach me (the developer) or my teammate (the artist) on Discord. We’re both in the Brackeys Discord server. This game was created for Brackeys Game Jam 2025.2.

Note:

This is a true online multiplayer game! Right now, it’s a 4v4 setup with 1 bot on each team so matches don’t feel empty when players join. The rest are real players you’ll be playing against. At the moment, only up to 6 players can join a match because I’ve hosted just one server for the jam. I’ll be adding more servers soon, along with player names and chat. If you run into an error after hitting Play, it’s probably because the server is already full and rejecting new connections. Let me know if you find any issues!
